Industrial opulence unites our collection of venues at Work Nicer Rail Yards in the Ramsay Design Centre. With soaring exposed ceilings, brick walls and chandeliers, our rooms range from cozy alcoves to bright open ballrooms. All original rooms within the historic Westeel Building (circa 1919), each room is unparalleled in its unique architectural personality

No corkage fee!

One highlight of our space is that we don’t charge a corkage fee - which means you can bring in your own alcohol - often a huge cost-savings for your day.

Event Host

As part of your experience, we include a day-of Event Host who is available to greet your vendors, manage the venue, and work with your team to assist with room flips.

Services built into the rental

We provide many of the basic components from which you can design your wedding such as furniture, A/V equipment, staff and many day-of needs, so you can focus on the details that will make your day special.

To compliment our unique venues, we have a variety of services you may want to consider for your Big Day. From custom styling and design to a more D.I.Y. approach, our packages are customizable for your every need. We know our venues intimately so why not take advantage of our expertise and add-on services such as wedding coordination, bar service, a patio, extra rooms, additional access and furniture, all for a fraction of the cost of outside vendors.

Day-AFTER access

Want to pick up things tomorrow? We do ask that you take everything with you at the end of your event, but also understand that things happen! If this option is not already part of your chosen package and you will require access to our space the day after then just ask! Please inquire for pricing.

Bar Services

We don’t charge a corkage fee, which can be a huge savings for you! We also work with some incredible vendors that provide exceptional bar services, custom cocktails, speciality kegs and more! Ask us for details.

Vendor SOurcing

Our team has screened and secured vendor partners that we know will provide exceptional, tailored services for you – from catering, to florists, to photographers. We’ve done the leg work in cultivating these relationships and we are excited for you to reap the rewards.

Additional Rooms

With a room available for cocktail hour while the main room is being flipped from ceremony to reception, to get ready rooms, we have spaces that suit your every need.

Day-before access

If this option is not already part of your chosen package, then the option provides you with the flexibility to prepare in advance by accessing the space the day before your event for up to 4 hours of load-in time. This can be booked up to 2 weeks before your event date. Please inquire for pricing.

Furniture rentals

We have a variety of furniture and decor items for rent at a fraction of the price of many third-party companies.

The Coordination Package

(Reception Only)

Starting at $2,500

We provide end-to-end support to ensure your event runs smoothly! This service includes coordination for your event, covering venue management, basic furniture, technology (not managed), cleaning, and professional on site management with an Event Host. We create a tailored floor plan, and offer design consultations via Google Meet, including ordering and setting up décor. The package also includes additional staff to handle table and chair setup, coordination with up to three other vendors, and an extra site visit to ensure every detail is perfectly aligned.

The Signature wedding experience

(Ceremony & Reception) 

Starting at $3,000

This package is designed to take care of all the essential details so you can enjoy your special day stress-free! With venue access from 10am-2am the next day, basic furniture, cleaning, and professional support from a dedicated Wedding Host. We create a tailored floor plan, and provide two Google Meet planning sessions, plus a full rehearsal 1–2 days prior. On the day, we handle the room set up of your personal décor, ceremony setup and facilitation, flip the space from ceremony to reception, manage basic technology during the ceremony and rehearsal, and oversee the full tear down. Additional venue staff are included, along with access to load out personal items after the event with a one-hour time slot.

The Premier Wedding Experience

(full design, coordination & execution)

Starting at $4,500

We’re there for you from beginning to end! This package offers comprehensive coordination and design support to bring your wedding vision to life with ease. With venue access from 10am-2am the next day, basic furniture, cleaning, and professional support from a dedicated Wedding Host. We create a tailored floor plan, and provide two Google Meet planning sessions, plus a full rehearsal 1–2 days prior. On the day, we handle the room set up of your personal décor, ceremony setup and facilitation, flip the space from ceremony to reception, manage basic technology during the ceremony and rehearsal, and oversee the full tear down. Additional venue staff are included, along with access to load out personal items after the event with a one-hour time slot. The package also includes design consultation, décor ordering, tailored floor plan creation, coordination with up to three other vendors, basic tech management during the ceremony and rehearsal, additional staff, and post-event access to load out personal items with a one-hour time slot.

 

preferred vendors

Catering

We have a list of preferred catering companies, meaning we can attest to their wonderful product and service. They know our spaces inside and out, and also offer bartending services. If you have your heart set on an outside caterer or bartender then please let us know!

TECH

Most venues have in-house tech such as lighting, sound and projection. This includes mircophones, speakers and a few other things to enhance your experience. However, DJ services or live music are not included. Confirm with your DJ on what equipment they can provide.
